Lee Giok Seng

Mr Lee Giok Seng holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, USA. He joined PETRONAS in August 1984.

He was involved in the NGV programme since it was first commercially introduced by PETRONAS in Malaysia in 1991 when he was the engineer in-charge of vehicle conversions. In 1995, with the formation of PETRONAS NGV Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS, he was appointed as the Technical Services Manager. In 2003 he was appointed as the Senior Manager for the Operations & Services Department of PETRONAS NGV. He managed the Supply & Transportation Unit, Maintenance and Services Unit, and Technical Services Unit of PETRONAS NGV. In August 2006 he was appointed as the Head of New Energy Resources in the Group Technology and R&D Management Unit of the Research and Technology Division of PETRONAS. Later in August 2007, he was seconded from PETRONAS to the Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA) as an Executive Director. His main tasks are to promote the use of NGV in the Asia Pacific region and to grow the association into an NGV association of choice in the region.

Mr Lee Giok Seng holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, USA. He joined PETRONAS in August 1984.

Prof. Dr. Ir. IGN Wiratmaja Puja is a faculty member of the Mechanical Engineering Department, ITB. He received the Bachelor of Technology degree in October 1987 as the second best graduate, from Institut Teknologi Bandung. In May 1994 he received Master of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Kentucky, USA. He then continued to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics which he was awarded in May 1996. His expertise is mainly in engineering design, integrity, and risk assesment for piping, pipeline and surface facilities for oil&gas industry. His industrial experiences are including as an engineering consultant for PT Pertamina, PT Pertagas, PT PGN, Conoco Phillips Indonesia, Beyond Petroleum, Chevron, Pearl Oil, BP Meruap, Total Indonesie, etc. He has also taught several short course for industry such as Onshore & offshore pipeline design, Pipeline integrity, Pipe Stress Analysis, Fitness for services, Risk based inspection, etc. Now, He’s assisting the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources as a Minister’s Staff Expert on Institutional and Strategic Planning in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic of Indonesia. He’s also became the Chief of
Acceleration Team on Conversion from Oil Fuel to Gas Fuel and the Chief of Acceleration Team on Renewable Energy.

Mr Punnachai was also the Strategic Retail Marketing Division Manager, was also in the Strategic Retail Marketing Department and Oil Business Group in year 2004 and 2005. He had his degree in Economics from the Thammasat University in Thailand and has finished his MBA from Roosevelt University, USA.

Filippo Munna is a Master Degree Mechanical Engineer with fourteen years experience, almost twelve of which have been spent working with the world’s leading car manufactures in China and South East Asia. Filippo has worked six years for Magneti Marelli Powertrain (four in Shanghai) with several technical responsibilities. In 2006 Filippo has moved to Landi Renzo Beijing where he has been appointed as Technical Manager in charge of China and ASEAN until 2010. During this time Filippo has cooperated with the major Chinese car makers for their CNG OEM developments. He has also leaded the launch of the first OEM CNG Corolla in partnership with Toyota Thailand, Toyota Motor Asia Pacific  and Toyota Motor Corporation. Since the year 2011 Filippo has taken the whole responsibility of the ASEAN Region for Landi Renzo Group and has focused a lot of his efforts in the Indonesian market. DDF is one of the activities where Landi Renzo is being successful in Indonesia. Mr Rolando V. Oliquino, Jr., 48 years old, serves as the Project Development Manager of PNOC Exploration Corporation of the Philippines in-charged of power plant and downstream natural gas projects. He joined the company in January 1995 as Drilling and Project Engineer. He also served as the Plant Superintendent of the company’s San Antonio Gas Power Plant; and later as team leader of the downstream natural gas projects. Prior to joining the
company, he served as Project Engineer for PNOC Coal Corporation. Mr Oliquino graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Southern Illinois University,
U.S.A (1987) and earned his Masters in Electrical Utility Engineering at the Curtin University of Technology, Australia (2002).

Visait has main academic background in engineering and business as he has graduated a Bachelor of Engineering (1st class honors) from Chulalongkorn University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Sasin & Kellogg School of Management.

His family has the biggest mass-transportation company in Pathumthani city named Kittisoontorn Co. Ltd., a 40-year-old company that has 400 buses with 15 million USD$ yearly revenue. Visait Hansaward has run Kittisoontorn after his parents’ generation for almost 10 years until now.

In the year 2007 that the country faced oil price crisis, he has founded Standard NGV co., Ltd. as a CNG (compressed natural gas) technology company to serve Kittisoontorn and external customers. It imports, distributes and installs CNG equipment for vehicle. Standard NGV also has a high-efficiency CNG refueling station that has the lowest power consumption rate in Thailand.

Kittisoontorn Co., Ltd. survived the crisis because CNG helped it decrease fuel cost, compared to using diesel, around 70% in 2007. Currently, all buses of Kittisoontorn’s use only CNG fuel and the fuel cost is still lower than using diesel around 50%. The company has to operate the fleet in 3 main terms as transportation service quality, bus maintenance and CNG refueling

Steve Matthews has been involved in the CNG and heavy duty trucking business since 1996. In 2013, he joined xperion Energy & Environment as their Customer Service Manager. This closes the circle in the CNG business for Steve, as his first employer in the industry, GFI Control Systems, manufactured everything except the cylinder and xperion concentrates specifically on manufacturing the highest quality type 4 cylinders!

Born and raised in Canada, Steve has lived and worked in three of the G8 countries on two different continents. After 14 years in Germany he manages to get by with the language… and culture!
Steve joined xperion as the Customer Service Manager to strengthen the Sales Team and help focus the customer-oriented outlook in the rapidly growing headquarters in centrally located Kassel. His last position as a Regional Customer Service Manager for a European transport truck manufacturer helped
solidify his customer oriented attitude.

Currently he manages several companies engaged in the automotive world as a President Director and President Commissioner, such as : PT. Hyundai Indonesia Motor (Sole Agent of Hyundai Cars), PT. Panji Rama Otomotif (Dealer of Mercedes-Benz), PT. Citrakarya Pranata (Dealer of Mercedes-Benz). Furthermore, he is involved as a President Director and Commissioner in other line of businesses, among others : Telecommunication, Property, Textile Manufacturing, Power Plant, Broadcasting, Chemical Industry, Real Estate, Coal Mine etc. In addition, he plays actively in The Association Board of GAIKINDO (Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries). Boris Shparberg, Worked in the KazTransGas Product company as the chief in strategy and development department where participated in the organization and to introduction in operation of the Station first by the CNG filling station in the territory of Kazakhstan in a municipal bus fleet in the city of Alma-Ata where made filling of 200 buses. Then in 2011 there was orderly joint venture of the KazTransGas product company and the Korean company COLON of AutoGasAlmaty for construction in Kazakhstan 100 CNG filling stations. Now continues work on advance in Kazakhstan of alternative types of motor fuel.
